Jorge Senn
General Manager, Ferrovias Guatemala

Prior to joining Ferrovias Guatemala, Mr. Senn spent five years with Terex Corporation, based in Westport, Connecticut, as Regional Manager for Latin America. His responsibilities included parts sales & marketing for heavy equipment for the construction and mining industries. Prior to this he served as Equipment & Service Manager of several heavy equipment dealers within Guatemala including Caterpillar. His regional experience also included serving as General Manager of Automotive Services Ltd., the representative for Jeep-Chrysler Corporation and National Car Rental for the country of Belize.

Mr. Senn joined Ferrovias Guatemala in July 2002 as General Manager.  He is responsible for the operation and continued restoration of commercial service between the City and the Pacific and Atlantic ports of Guatemala.

A graduate of the San Carlos University in Guatemala, Mr. Senn also obtained his MBA degree in Marketing from the Francisco Marroquin University in Guatemala. He is a founding member of the Committee of Guatemalan Automotive Service Shops, part of the National Chamber of Commerce, as well as an active member of the Jorge Toruño Educational Foundation.  

In addition to his native tongue, Spanish, Mr. Senn speaks English, German and Portuguese.
